Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Right Proposals (“the Service”) at rightproposals.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, waitlist members, and paying subscribers.

2. The service

Right Proposals is an AI-powered proposal and scope-of-work generator for freelancers and digital agencies. The core function is to generate branded PDF proposals from a short project brief, using the context stored in your brand profile.

The Service is provided “as is”. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice to active subscribers where possible.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• One person or legal entity per account — account sharing is not permitted on individual plans

4. Subscriptions and billing

Founding member pricing

Founding members who pay before the public launch are locked in at the founding member price for as long as they remain continuously subscribed. If a founding member cancels their subscription, the founding member price is forfeited and the standard public price applies on resubscription.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service
• We may update pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers. Founding member prices are exempt from price increases

Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• Pre-launch founding member payments are fully refundable on request before the product launches
• Post-launch refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact info@rightproposals.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error

5. Acceptable use

You may use Right Proposals for any lawful business purpose. You must not:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive proposals
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without written permission
• Use automated scripts to bulk-generate proposals beyond normal business use
• Upload or submit content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or payment requirements
• Use the Service in a way that damages, disables, or impairs our infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. AI-generated content

Right Proposals uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate proposal content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• You are responsible for reviewing all proposals before sending them to clients
• We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any specific purpose
• Right Proposals is a tool to assist your proposal writing, not a substitute for your professional judgement

7. Your content and data

You own your content. Any brand profiles, project briefs, proposals, and other content you create using the Service remain your property.

By using the Service you grant Right Proposals a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring that any client information you enter into the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consent from your clients.

8. Intellectual property

The Right Proposals brand, website, application code, and design are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

The AI-generated proposals created using the Service are yours to use commercially without restriction.

9. Proposal tracking

The proposal tracking feature generates unique links that record when a recipient opens your proposal. By using this feature you confirm that:

• You have a legitimate business reason to track engagement with the proposals you send
• You will not use tracking links for purposes beyond monitoring your own proposals
• You understand that some jurisdictions may require disclosure of email or link tracking to recipients

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Right Proposals and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost contracts, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Right Proposals and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. For users based in the United Kingdom, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. For users based in Australia, nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where disputes cannot be resolved informally, they shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, unless applicable local law in your country requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
